This mica powder pigment is cosmetic-grade with 800-1000 mesh fineness (12-18 micron particle size), which is within the range accepted for cosmetic applications including soap, lip balm and nail polish. All 24 colours use iron oxide and titanium dioxide-based colourants. Buyers manufacturing cosmetics for sale should verify compliance with their target market regulations (FDA 21 CFR for the US, EC 1223/2009 for the EU).

For translucent colour effects in epoxy resin art, use 1-3 grams of mica powder per 100 grams of mixed resin. For opaque, solid colour coverage, increase to 5-8 grams per 100 grams. Adding more than 10% by weight can interfere with epoxy cure chemistry and weaken the final casting. Mix thoroughly for 60 seconds before pouring.
